“Just do it…”

“Just do it…”
This phrase has been running through my mind a lot lately… and no, I’m not sitting around daydreaming about new shoes!
I’ve been thinking about what’s next in my coaching business, as part of our Mindfluent Leadership offerings.
And everything that comes to mind makes my palms sweat a little.
And my heart race.
And then a million thoughts flood my brain…
…How do I best explain Integral Coaching?
…I don’t want to be called a “life coach.” It’s leadership coaching focused on the whole of the person, in all aspects of life.
…How should I best market myself?
And on and on!
My Lesser Self, my Inner Critic pipes up.
Fear takes over.
Fear of how to best move forward.
Fear of messing up.
Fear of failing.
Fear about what others will think of me.
But really, what good is this fear doing besides freezing me in place.
Preventing me from taking that next step.
Of course, right now my days are filled with cuddling our sweet little boy, but within the next couple months, I am creating space for coaching.
That is, unless I totally give in to this fear.
And that’s why “Just do it” is running through my mind.
Thankfully, I have Breanne by my side and leading by example…
She shared her Mindset Coaching opportunity with a group of high school volleyball players and parents this week, with opportunities opening up for her to coach club teams this winter and spring.
I’m sure there was some fear behind her courage.
But she didn’t let it stop her.
And I won’t either.
One step at a time.
Always moving forward.
Knowing that we will figure it out!
I choose to “just do it,” because the alternative is to crumble under the fear.
The alternative is to hide.
To dim what is possible.
To not make a difference.
To not be impactful.
And that will never be my choice.
